The St. Louis Pyramids!  Otherwise known as the Cahokia Mounds.  Yes, the elusive pyramids that Bob Vickers has been talking about for years.  He finally found them, and snapped this photo.

In this month's issue:

Happy Summer!

A Message from the President
The June CTOH Monthly Meeting will be held at Wyndham and Nancy Smith's house on Father's Day, Sunday the 19th.  The club voted at the May meeting to pay for the food (BBQ, etc) and drinks (BYOB for beer/wine/liquor).  Members are encouraged to bring a dessert.  We will have a drawing at the June meeting for another Interstate battery - to enter the drawing, you must have your 55, 56 or 57 TBird at the meeting.

At the May meeting, an Interstate battery (courtesy of Gerry Estes) was won by Geary Ashby as the door prize.

Let's all plan on attending this event.  Hope to see you there.

May you have fair winds and following seas, keep the engine cool and the diesel out of the gas tank.

Diesel Bill

June Meeting
The June meeting will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2005, at the home of Wyndham and Nancy Smith, 9121 Kenilworth, just 1 block south of the Katy Freeway, and 2 blocks east of Silber.  Exit Silber either way from the Katy Freeway, stay south on Silber past the Jack in the Box, and turn left at the first street (Kenilworth).  Proceed east on Kenilworth, and the Smith's are at 9121, on the right side of the road.  Bring your Bird--there's plenty of parking.  We will eat at 1pm, and meet at 2 pm.  Wyndham is firing up his smoker, and good things happen when he does.  The Club is buying the beef, and all you need to do is provide your own beverage and dessert to share.  If you get lost, the Smith home number is 713-686-4815.

May Meeting
The May meeting was held at the Red Robin Restaurant located at 10465 Richmond Ave on May 15.  For all the details, come to the June meeting.

Tail Lights
A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa. "The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG. High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water. But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we all have, or will, eat it.  Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?" After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row raised his hand, and softly said, "Wedding Cake."
