Texas bluebonnets. No better season for cruising than Spring in Texas.

The Houston club is not real serious about show cars, but Carol Swofford was at the time of this overhaul. It has paid off, too, as this car has won numerous awards in just the last year. Here we see, with the car finally finished, the mechanic celebrates with his first beer in two years. Ha ha ha.
	A trip to the Baetz's farm in 1998, then to Praha, Tx. Church Fest. A scorching 103 degrees - yow! But the food was good, and the cake walk and bingo took off some of the heat.
This was a photo op not to be passed up. This truck was sitting by the side of highway 290 on the way back from Austin.
