| After all the body filler and the first coat of filler primer has been applied, the surface is sanded down with a body file and 220 grit sand paper. | |

| Each coat of filler primer and guide coat is worked down with a body file and hand sanding until the surface is ready for the final stage of body preparation. | |

| The final stage before painting is wet sanding with 900 grit paper. The car is cleaned inside and out to prevent any dust particles from getting on the finish paint. | |

| At last!! Setting in the paint booth after 3 coats of metallic silver base coat. The car is now ready for the finish clear coat. | |

| FINISHED. And it looks good. The 55 is now at the Baetz Bird Farm waiting for Dennis to give it the master's touch on the final assembly. | |
